An International Financial Markets Executive Search Firm with offices in London, New York, Hong Kong and Zurich. The successful candidate will join the firm in the position of Researcher, supporting the Zurich-based director from London. As such, there will be regular visits to Zurich to meet clients.As a Researcher you will become an expert in Global Banking Markets and will need to immerse yourself into this world. Researchers for Executive Search firms discover and map a unique who's who of executive level talent in order to provide the Consultants with the ability to hand pick the best of the best for their clients. As well as being able to build and develop your own personal networks in order to gather valuable information as to the movements of internal and external professionals you will also need to be able to investigate background histories for selected candidates, compiling dossiers of information for the Consultants to pitch to their clients. Top Researchers in the city are highly sought after because without their knowledge the Consultants would not be able to win retained fees for their work. For this role you will be working on mandates across western Europe, particularly in Germany and Switzerland. Most written correspondence will be in English however a number of potential candidates will be German-speakers and will want to be spoken to in their language. They will mostly be senior executives earning in excess of £100k. You will need to be motivated by success and working in a project based sales environment. As you progress you will be able to attend the interview processes and assist in meetings and pitches with clients.The salary for this role is £23-26k based on experience and you will qualify for bonuses based on successful performance.Requirements:- Fluency in English and German to business-level- Top-class academic background- A confident, outgoing persona with a professional attitude to business- Ideally experience in sales, recruitment or financial services (We are considering recent graduates and those with experience)- Genuine interest in the financial markets
